Memories of Past Events

Our visit last Friday afternoon was terrific! We were greeted warmly by Kurk Shrader who patiently answered all our questions.  He has a wealth of information about the author and about the home and never once hesitated to answer our questions.

I was impressed with the house - it is nicely and authentically furnished. 

Each room was fun to see. The young girls enjoyed looking for the items on their scavenger hunt. It was fun to see the various rooms decorated to represent Aldrich's work and to also represent other writings for children.
